Monitoring of an AntiTwist system (2009)

In October 2009, we’ve worked in Baltic Sea, onboard the Jumbo Fairplayer, to monitor the AntiTwist system of this vessel.

The Jumbo Fairplayer has new anti twist systems on both cranes. We were onboard the Jumbo Fairplayer with our Seaeye Surveyor Plus.

Whilst lowering the crane block in water we had to retrieve a locking pin out of crane block.

This was a on a water depth of approximately 250 metres and the aim was to monitor if the crane block was twisting.
