F2-A Hanze Tanker Mooring and Loading System Turret Trawl Protection Frame Reinstallation (2011)

Following the earlier release of the Fishing Vessel from the F2 Hanze platform, Bluestream Diving B.V. was contracted by Dana Petroleum Netherlands B.V. to install a tanker mooring and loading system system Turret protection frame.

The operations were successfully completed using the DSV Skandi Inspector equipped with a Dive and ROV team. The workscope comprised in brief the following activities:

  • The DSV picked-up the new trawl protection frame at F2-A Hanze platform.
  • The Divers pre-installed rigging and airbags on the frame, on completion the frame was lifted overboard above the TMLS.
  • The Divers inflated the airlift bags connection to the frame and released the vessel crane wire connected to the frame.
  • The frame was pulled down by divers and they fitted 4 x guide pins and 4 securing pins into pockets of TMLS turret table.
  • On completion Divers installed a TSA on protection frame with the aid of a Kongsberg engineer.
  • Finally the DSV reinstated a secured messenger line.
