Inspection Engineer

I joined Bluestream in January 2023 as a Junior Inspection Engineer. After 16 years of working as a ships officer on cruise ships, it was time for a change. I’d always been interested in the offshore industry, so I was excited to start working at Bluestream.

In my role as Junior Inspection Engineer, I process inspection data, prepare drawings, write reports and prepare the inspection recording system. What I like most about my job is that there’s a good deal of puzzling involved in the preparation of an inspection. And as I’m still new to this role, I learn something new every day. At Bluestream, there’s a friendly working environment, and all my colleagues are very helpful and willing to share their knowledge. I really enjoy the opportunity to learn and gain more experience.
