Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) programs

Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) programs

Bluestream was awarded a contract by GdF Suez E&P Netherlands, TOTAL E&P Netherlands and Chevron Exploration and Production Netherlands B.V. to once again execute the annual IRM program 2014 for their assets on the North Sea Dutch Continental Shelf. Diving, ROV and rope access activities were undertaken from diving support vessels Seamar Splendid, VOS Shelter and VOS Shine. The programs involved non-destructive testing topside and subsea, visual inspections and (minor) construction works. The combination of different disciplines on one vessel resulted in a working method with a high performance.

On board each vessel one or more inspection engineers collected and recorded all data with support of Digital Edge data recording systems. The results were presented in a detailed report for each platform, including general condition, anomalies and potential complications that required corrective action.
