Efficient Installations

Efficient Installations

Bluestream utilises rope access techniques for several tasks and clients and they have proven to be highly effective when it comes to installation works in difficult-to-reach places.

A dedicated Rope Access team, which was assembled to perform a wide range of tasks for our client AJS, prepared the K14 offshore production platform for the positioning of the Seafox 4 jack-up rig. The team installed a spanset onto the K14 platform to allow for accurate positioning of the rig and to align it in its desired position.

On another occasion, GdF Suez E&P Netherlands requested assistance from Bluestream for the replacement of two stairways leading from the sub-cellardeck to the spiderdeck of a platform. Both stairways were located inside the jacket, underneath the platform, which made this particular job a challenge. Prior to project execution relevant project procedures and sophisticated rigging plans were prepared.

The combination of Bluestream’s rope access expertise and extensive experience in such projects resulted in a safe and successful execution within a record time frame.
