Fabric Maintenance Campaign AJS/NAM
The fabric maintenance barge campaign is a refurbishment project for AJS/NAM in the Dutch and UK sectors. Bluestream’s contribution to this project is the decommissioning and removal of redundant plant equipment by means of rope access, prior to the painting and blasting activities of other specialised contractors. Our rope access workscopes to date:
• Potential dropped object surveys
• Decommissioning
• Construction works
• Rigging
• NDT
• Welding / Gas cutting
The main goal of the campaign is to extend the commercial lifespan of 30 to 35 platforms by another 20 years to allow for the continued supply of natural gas for the near future.
Since the start of the campaign in 2012 Bluestream has been present with multiple teams creating access in a safe and efficient way to perform our specialist tasks at height and in difficult to reach areas.
To date, all of our activities have been carried out according to the highest safety and quality standards, which has led to an incident-free track record. Besides the offshore operations we also offer full support regarding project management related activities varying from progress meetings, QHSE management to logistics support.
