more insight into the status of an asset
UAV INSPECTION SERVICES
Alongside its Rope Access services, Bluestream is now also providing UAV visual inspection services for onshore and offshore assets.
UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, also referred to as ‘drones’) are particularly suitable for:
- onshore and offshore live flare inspections
- topside, splash zone and under deck inspections
- inspection of hard to access infrastructure
Inspections can be performed from the site, a platform as well as from a vessel. UAV and Rope Access combine to provide a complementary service.
Where does our UAV service add value?
Safety:
By giving more insight into the status of an asset, without extensive use of specialised labour. These inspections also improve the targeted delivery of Rope Access work. Significant reduction will also be achieved in the need for inspection work at height and over side.
Cost:
Reduce shutdown costs and make operational savings by inspecting critical infrastructure whilst it is still live/in production. Inspection of cold and unmanned platforms prior to and during decommissioning.
Efficiency:
Fast, flexible and efficient inspections. It allows the collection of extensive footage in a short amount of time, which provides necessary information for the potential scope of work for the Rope Access technicians.
Reporting Expertise:
We have a highly experienced and specialised department that compiles reports which are rated as technically excellent.
