The Tiger is suited for most subsea inspection tasks and light manipulation tasks, with a payload capacity of 32 Kilograms.
The Tiger is a compact and versatile ROV that has a Forward speed of 3 knots and can handle a variety of subsea sensors and tooling. The Tiger is suited for most subsea inspection tasks and light manipulation tasks, with a payload capacity of 32 Kilograms. The Tiger comes with a color and black/white camera on a tilt platform, a depth sensor, compass and obstacle avoidance SONAR. Optionally a multi beam sonar can be mounted along with other survey equipment.
Examples of subsea tasks that can be performed are:
• Wall thickness measurements;
• Flooded member detection;
• Cathodic protection measurements;
• Cleaning tasks;
• Small manipulation tasks as cutting ropes or picking up rigging.
The Tiger ROV comes with a TMS on its own Launch and Recovery System, or LARS. The TMS ensures the Tiger to dive deeper without significant tether drag, and enables safe operations from a DP vessel making sure that the TMS is protecting the ROV and its tether from the vessel thrusters.
The Tiger TMS spread typically consists of a LARS, control unit and a separate workshop to perform ROV maintenance. To minimize deck space required on board the vessel, the system can be configured for a control unit and workshop in a single 15 ft container. The control unit is air conditioned and has multiple recording options to suit client requirements.
