In the offshore wind industry, compromised cable protection systems represent a serious integrity risk. We’ve noticed a large amount of damaged cable protection systems in various offshore wind farms – in cases where severe local environmental conditions have been under-estimated for years.

In cooperation with our client, we’ve engineered and tested multiple methods of installing retrofit cable protection systems. After analysing the test results, upgrades have been made to both the cable protection design and the installation procedures in the cases that needed it.
