Higher technical education degree.
At least 1-3 years of relevant work experience in electrical, electronic, and ROV engineering.
Excellent command of both spoken and written Dutch and English.

As an R&D Engineer, you will be an indispensable part of the innovative advancements at Bluestream Offshore. You play a key role in identifying technical improvements that optimise both offshore operations and systems for our clients. You work independently but also closely collaborate with various teams to coordinate and implement technical developments. In this role, you will have the freedom to bring in your ideas and initiate process improvements.
Within your role, you will research and develop technical solutions that improve the efficiency and safety of offshore operations, reduce costs, and enhance workability. You will analyse recurring faults, diagnose causes, and come up with creative solutions. You will also be responsible for developing new methods and processes to replace current tools and techniques. You will prepare project proposals, including timelines, risk analysis, and cost estimates, and oversee the implementation of these proposals.
As an expert in your field, you will keep up to date with the latest developments in electrical and electronic engineering and ROV technology. You will provide technical support to various departments and act as a bridge between Bluestream and our clients. Additionally, you will work in accordance with the highest standards, ensuring full compliance with VCA and ISO standards.
