Your role as HR Advisor

You understand people, and you understand structure. You know the rules and regulations, but more importantly, you know how to apply them in a way that works. Based in Den Helder, you’ll have a clear view of the international playing field across OEG and OEG Subsea. You ensure that HR is not an afterthought, but a reliable anchor within our operations.

As HR Advisor, you provide advice and support to (line) management on a broad range of HR topics. From recruitment and performance management to sickness absence, employment terms and compliance – you're involved at every stage.

You support managers in the recruitment process, handle cases involving absence or performance, and ensure that policies and procedures remain relevant and practical. You liaise with external agencies, negotiate commercial agreements, and contribute to a working environment where people feel safe, valued and professionally supported.
You know when to listen and when to act. You use your people skills in both a tactical and strategic way – engaging with business needs while keeping the individual in focus. With experience in international and project-based environments, you understand the need to adapt quickly without losing structure.

You’ll have the freedom to shape your own approach within a clear framework. You’ll collaborate with colleagues in the Netherlands and abroad, and play a key role in strengthening our HR foundations. From that solid base, we work towards sustainable growth – for the company and for everyone who’s part of it.
